Hero Arts Color Layering Poinsettia Christmas Card

Hero Arts Color Layering Poinsettia Christmas Card

Happy Christmas Eve, my friends!  Do you have your gifts wrapped and goodies baked to be ready for tomorrow!  I commend you if you are ready as I have not wrapped the first gift.  Guess what I will do today!  But before I begin wrapping gifts, I wanted to share my last Christmas card for this year.  The card features Hero Arts Color Layering Poinsettia stamp set bundle.

Matthew 1:18-25  – The Birth of Jesus Christ

18: “This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about:  His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
19:  Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20:  But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
21:  She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
22.  All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
23.  “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” — which means, “God with us.”
24.  When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
25.  But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son.  And he gave him the name Jesus.”

Hero Arts Fairy Window

Hero Arts Fairy Window

It is with great pleasure that I create this card in honor of this week’s Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers (SCS).  Vicki (Hawaiian) is the Featured Stamper, and she has a remarkable SCS gallery.  Should you check out her gallery, you will notice that she loves to create fairy cards.  Thus, I selected this beautiful fairy card of hers to CASE.

John 14: 23 & 24

“Jesus replied, “If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.  My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.  He who does not love me will not obey my teaching.  These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.”

Christmas and Winter Scene Bauble

Christmas and Winter Scene Bauble

I love creating 3-D crafts, and lately, I have really enjoyed doing so.  Today I have for you a 3-D Christmas and Winter Scene Bauble.  I created it in response to Saturday’s Splitcoaststampers Inspiration challenge.  The hostess for the challenge selected this site from which to draw inspiration.  I selected this Tree Scene Glass Ball Ornament as my inspiration.

This is my inspired bauble:

Matthew 24:42-44

Jesus said, “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.  But understand this:  If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.  So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

Hero Arts Textured Leaves

Hero Arts Textured Leaves

Hello, special friends!  I hope that anyone impacted by Hurricane Michael has survived the horrific storm.  I was impacted with high winds and bands of drenching rain.  Thank God, my friends and family are OK.  Those who were significantly impacted are in my prayers.

I am sharing with you a card I made for two of this week’s challenges on Splitcoaststampers.  One is the Color Challenge and the other the Free For All Challenge.  The Color Challenge is to use the color combination of Stampin’ Up!’s Real Red, Garden Green, and So Saffron with “dessert” to use a stencil on a project.  The Free For All Challenge was simply to use a stencil on a project.  This is the card I created, and it features Hero Arts Textured Leaves stamps and matching dies.

1 Thessalonians 5:26-18

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Hero Arts MMH Kit May 2018

Hero Arts MMH Kit May 2018

Hello!  I am just sharing a card I made in May, and it features the Hero Arts MMH Kit May 2018.  The kit is wonderful as it is about young children and their swings, bikes, kites, and animals.  The kit is called “Tree of Life” because the primary products are related to trees.  I used the kit to create this card.

Revelation 3:8-10

I know your deeds.  See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.  I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.  I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars — I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.  Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.”

Serene Silhouettes

SERENE SILHOUETTES

Hello, and welcome back, or welcome if this is your first time to this site.  Do you remember the old Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Serene Silhouettes?  I call the stamp set “old” because it is more than five years old.  I created my Serene Silhouettes card for a Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS) to create a project that includes birds.  Because the card needed to be CAS, I searched for a simple image of a bird or birds, and this set is the one I found in my stash of older stamps.

Ephesians 2:1-3

“As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this wold and the ruler of the kingdom of the air [Satan], the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.  All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following its desires and thoughts.  Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.”
