LITTLE ANGEL FATHER’S DAY CARD
Hello, my friends! I love my son-in-law so much that I made him another Father’s Day card. It is called a Little Angel Father’s Day Card because it features the Whimsy Stamps Little Angel Father digital image.
Hello, my friends! I love my son-in-law so much that I made him another Father’s Day card. It is called a Little Angel Father’s Day Card because it features the Whimsy Stamps Little Angel Father digital image.
Happy Father’s Day to the fathers who make a difference in a child’s life and are supportive, a pillar of strength, and help to ensure an end result of a well-adjusted child. My special son-in-law is one of those fathers. He exudes love for his daughter and is a great role model. His time with his daughter is of utmost importance to him, and he ensures he has time with her on a daily basis. He does not role cast her; he introduces her to tools, fishing, and other “male” activities. His daughter is 3 years old, and she LOVES her daddy! I am very proud to call him my son-in-law (SIL) and I think he is an exemplary and great father.
This is one of the cards I made for him for Father’s Day. It’s On The Fly Father’s Day Card that features the old Stampin’ Up! On The Fly stamp set. He is an avid fisherman! The card is a Step Ladder Center Cut card, and I posted a tutorial on making this style of card in my last post.
Welcome to Guneaux Designs! I love the Penny Black Crimson Blush Rose stamp, and I am featuring it on my card today. I stamped the rose image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock. Using Copic Sketch Markers, I blended shades of light to dark pink alcohol ink onto the roses, and shades of green onto the leaves. Afterward, I used a dark pink Prismacolor pencil to add more color to enhance the image. Then I blended the pencil coloring with Gamsol.
1 John 3:11-15
“This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother’s were righteous. Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.”
Mary is our hostess for this week’s Color Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. She gave us a beautiful color combination of SU Dapper Denim, Tangerine Tango, and Sahara Sand. Her dessert option is to use SU Soft Suede. I used all of the colors, or colors closely related, on my card.
Hello, and welcome to Guneaux Designs! How have you been? I have been quite busy creating cards for the Splitcoaststampers June Dirty Dozen Theme. Therefore, it has been many days since I last posted. Today’s post is a beach scene card that features the ODBD Adirondack Chairs stamp.
The main hostess for the Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge asked me to be a guest designer for the month of June. I am excited and this is my first card for the June Color Challenges. The colors for the challenge were selected by Pam MacKay, the hostess, and she selected the Stampin’ Up! colors of Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, and Cherry Cobbler. This color combination is a fantastic one. For dessert, Pam gave us an option to create a beach scene.
John 16:12-16
Jesus said to the disciples: “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you. In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”
Yesterday’s color challenge on Splitcoaststampers was a beautiful color combination of SU Watermelon Wonder, Smoky Gray, and Old Olive. My card submission for the challenge showcased the Penny Black FLORAL ARRANGEMENT Creative Die. Also featured on my card are the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Lilac Scroll & Cage Die, and Whimsy Stamps Shaker Marker Rectangle Dies.
