Penny Black FLORAL ARRANGEMENT Creative Die

Penny Black FLORAL ARRANGEMENT Creative Die

Yesterday’s color challenge on Splitcoaststampers was a beautiful color combination of  SU Watermelon Wonder, Smoky Gray, and Old OliveMy card submission for the challenge showcased the Penny Black FLORAL ARRANGEMENT Creative DieAlso featured on my card are the Heartfelt Creations Sweet Lilac Scroll & Cage Die, and Whimsy Stamps Shaker Marker Rectangle Dies.

Galatians 6:7

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. People reap what they sow.”

Don’t you agree that this color combination is so beautiful?  The hostess’, Stef (dahlia19), dessert option is to use a die cut sentiment/shape/image.

I used dies to create the floral arrangement, cage, and frame on my card.  I colored the flowers and leaves with Copic sketch markers closely related to Stef’s color choices.

This is a photo of the Penny Black FLORAL ARRANGEMENT Creative Die that I used for the floral arrangement:

Because I didn’t want the floral arrangement to look so flat as it would with using one die cut image, I die cut additional pieces from the die.  I added them to create layers to the flowers and some of the leaves to create a 2-dimensional floral arrangement.

I placed a pearl in the center of the flowers, and die cut the cage and frame from SU Smoky Slate cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by to view my card.  I greatly appreciate your comments and hope you will leave one!
