Stampin Up Ornament Keepsakes Bundle

The Stampin Up Ornament Keepsakes Bundle (129950) consisting of the ornaments stamp set and Holiday Ornaments Framelits  (127816) are wonderful for creating this year’s Christmas cards.  Couple the Stampin Up Ornament Keepsakes Bundle with the Snow Festival DSP  (126908) and you have a beautiful and simple Christmas card like the one I am sharing today.

Stampin Up Ornament Keepsakes Bundle

I love the Snow Festival DSP as it provides such easy ways to make beautiful cards.  The Baja Breeze and Primrose Petals colors in the design from the DSP that I chose to use are so pretty together.

The following picture provides a closeup of the ornament and Primrose Petals 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon (126844) bow.  The Merry Christmas sentiment that I stamped on the ornament is from the  Come to Bethlehem stamp set (120591).  I used VersaMark (102283) on the stamp and embossed the sentiment with White Embossing Powder (109132).

Tweet Leaves – Stampin’ Up! – Stamping With Guneaux Designs

I love the Stampin’ Up! Tweet Leaves stamp and have made another Autumn-themed card using the stamp.  Living in Central Florida typically does not give one the Autumn feeling. I resort to making my Autumn-themed cards to create a dose of Autumn for me (LOL).

However, I must share that my neighbor put in a 15′ Red Maple tree last month and its leaves have turned and are falling.  So now I can look out my craft room window and see  various colors of leaves falling.  However, the colors are dull and not like the vibrant colors from up North.  I need to see more Autumn colors when I look out my window!  🙁

Now, don’t giggle, but I I used Tempting Turquoise on my Autumn card!  Tempting Turquoise???  I know, who thinks of Tempting Turquoise when thinking of Autumn?  It has to be the influence of living in an area that never gets the “It Is Fall” memorandum.  Can any of you do something to get that memorandum sent to Florida each year??  (LOL)

No more nonsense – here’s the Tweet Leaves card (tempting turquoise and all):

Here is a closeup of the Tweet Leaves stamp image:

Brayered Greeting Card – Lovely As A Tree

Let me start off my Monday by sharing a beautiful brayered greeting card.  It has been a while since I’ve created a brayered greeting card.  My intend for this card was to create an autumn theme.  Hopefully, that is what you see also.

Brayered Greeting Card

I’m sure you noticed a stamp image that isn’t one from Stampin’ Up!’s.  I’ve had the leaves stamp for several years, and wanted to use it since Stampin Up doesn’t have an equivalent one.  I needed leaves falling from the trees to represent Autumn.  Thus, that stamp came in handy.

To move on, the primary stamp images on this brayered greeting card are from the Lovely As A Tree stamp set.  This Stampin’ Up! stamp set seems to get featured a lot in brayered greeting cards.  I love the stamp set, and hope it stays around for a long time.

Lovely As A Tree Clear-Mount Stamp Set

Trust God Clear-Mount Stamp Set

The Stampin’ Up! supplies I used in making this brayered greeting card are:

Stampin Up Submit a Project Kit Program

Stampin Up has started a brand new program, the Stampin Up Submit a Project Kit Program, and it is about YOU submitting YOUR kit ideas to Stampin Up, and they could become future Stampin Up kits for sale.  YOU will be the inspiration for the kits and YOU will vote to decide which project kits will be sold.  What a customer-service, oriented company Stampin Up is!!

Stampin Up Submit a Project Kit

The Stampin Up Submit a Project Kit Program is not limited to demonstrators!  Any customer can submit a kit idea.  So spread the word around to your neighbors, crafting clubs, class attendees, and anyone you run into.

After kit ideas are submitted, you can vote on various kits (including yours), and the votes will determine which kit(s) becomes available for future purchase.  This process is the same as the one I posted about yesterday where you voted on three potential Stampin Up Project Kits, resulting in one being selected to purchase.  So start creating, send your project kit ideas to Stampin Up, and get ready to vote for your favorites!

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

  • This program is available to both customers and demonstrators.
  • While your projects should not include retired products, they may include products not created by Stampin’ Up!, such as jars or frames.
  • Projects must fit into one of the following categories:
    • Holiday
    • Photo a Day
    • Thank you
    • Birthday
    • Party favor
  • Projects can be cards, scrapbook pages, home décor, holiday décor, birthday decorations, etc.  If you can make it with Stampin’ Up! product, you can submit it!
  • Submit your projects by e-mail. Send an image (less than 2 MB), supply list, and instructions for creating the project to kitideas@stampinup.com. In the subject line, include the name of your project.
  • Please keep in mind that all submissions become the property of Stampin’ Up! once received. Stampin Up reserves the right to change project elements, the name, or any feature to make the kit easy to reproduce.
  • What’s in it for you? Glad you asked! Those who submit the winning kit will:
    • See it – your photo, name, and project will be posted online.
    • Flaunt it – you’ll receive “blog badge” for your personal blog or website.
    • Spend it – you wouldn’t be a winner without a $100 Stampin’ Up! shopping spree.
  • That’s not all! Those whose submissions are in the top 20 will also receive product used in the winning kit or a $25 shopping spree of their own.

Watch for more information with details about how to vote!
