Stampin Up 25-Year Anniversary Celebration – “Best Of”

Stampin Up 25-Year Anniversary Celebration

As part of the Stampin Up 25-year anniversary celebration, it is bringing back some of our favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets, which will be released one set per month during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each “Best of” set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Some things to remember about the Stampin Up 25-year anniversy celebration:

  • All “Best of” stamp sets will include 3-5 stamp images, including a never-before- seen image, and the sets will be priced at $14.95 (US).
  • While a “Best of” stamp set will be released one per month (with a new theme each month), all of the “Best of” sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
  • All “Best of” stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.

As part of the Stampin Up 25-year anniversary celebration, there is a 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every “Best of” stamp set you purchase.  The sticker is to be placed onto a Collector’s Card.  The Collector’s Card will be shipped with the February Stamp Set when purchased.  Purchase six “Best” of stamp sets and collect six stickers.  Place the stickers on the Collector’s Card and redeem it for a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95 (US)!  Free sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.  If you have not seen the Collector’s Card, you can view and print it here.

The February “Best of” stamp set that was released is the Best of Love (132987) stamp set.

My Digital Studio Valentine Scrapbook Page

I really like this My Digital Studio Valentine Scrapbook Page that I developed to share with you today.  Among other items, the page features a Valentine Card that I made in 2011.

My Digital Studio Valentine Scrapbook Page

I have said it many times before, but I have to say it again, I LOVE My Digital Studio! There are so many benefits to having and using it, as you can see on this Scrapbook Page. Remember the Stampin’ Up! Love Impressions Designer Series Paper that was one of Stampin’ Up!’s releases in the January 4 – April 30 2011 Occasions Mini Catalog?  That paper is featured on this scrapbook page, but in a digital form.  Thus, because of having Stampin Up’s My Digital Studio, I still can use my favorite Valetine Designer Series Paper, the Love Impressions.

Actually, you can still purchase a digital download of the Love Impressions Designer Series Paper (121821).  Also, the Love Impressions Designer Series Paper (non-digital) is still available on Stampin’ Up!’s Clearance Rack, and it’s only $4.79.  The original price in 2011 was $11.95.

I also want to point out that My Digital Studio Valentine Scrapbook Page features a current digital DSP, which is a Hostess Gift.  That is the Stacks of Millions Digital Collection Disc (130675) that is on page 39 of the Spring Catalog.  This digital DSP includes designs for every season.  The gray diamond DSP  that shows on My Digital Studio Valentine Scrapbook Page is from this disc.

Condensed Instructions for My Digital Studio Valentine Scrapbook Page:

  • Within My Digital Studio, select and name a new project,
  • Select Basic Gray Card Stock and OK,
  • Slide the Opacity Bar to the left tot 34 to lighten the Basic Gray Card Stock,
  • Select Love Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP)-Pattern 2 , “Add as a Layer”, double click on the paper, resize to 9″ x 12″, and move it to the left,
  • Select Stacks a Millions DSP 9,  “Add as a Layer”, double click on the paper, re-size it to 3″ x 12″, and move to the right, lining it up with the Love Impressions DSP.
  • Select the Eyelet Border Punch, rotate it vertically, resize it to a desired size, add a gray mat, and place it according to above picture,
  • Select the Square Punch, re-size to size it to a 6″ x 6″ square, and fill with Stacks a Million DSP 9,
  • Select a photo to insert over the 6″ x 6″ square,
  • Select the square punch, expand the length and decrease the height, add a mat and/or shadow, and insert a title,
  • Repeat and place on top of the Eyelet Border and insert “I Love You”,
  • Select the heart punch, fill it as desired, and copy and paste so there are three hearts,
  • If desired, include text to be placed onto the hearts,

Stampin Up You Are Loved Valentine Card

Valentine’s Day is coming quickly and I have for you today a Valentine Card featuring the Stampin Up You Are Loved stamp set and Hearts Collection Framelits Dies.  Hopefully you will enjoy the card and the instructions for how I made this NEW easel card base design.  I have not seen it anywhere on the internet.

You Are Loved

 Stampin Up You Are Loved

This view shows the inside of the card.

Stampin Up You Are Loved

Stampin Up You Are LovedSUPPLIES USED FOR THIS STAMPIN UP YOU ARE LOVED VALENTINE CARD:

Stamp Set:  Stampin Up You Are Loved (123779 -c), Trust God (126702), Valentine Defined (retired)

Paper:  Real Red Card Stock (124290 – 12″ x 12″), More Amore Designer Series Paper (129309)

AccessoriesBig Shot, Multipurpose Platform, and Cutting Plates (113439); Hearts Collection Framelits Dies (125599),  Sycamore Street Pool Party Ribbon (130812), Hearts Adorning Accents Embossing Folder (125601), Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder (117335), Scallop Oval Punch (119856), Extra-Large Oval Punch (119859), and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter (102023)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING THE STAMPIN UP YOU ARE LOVED CARD BASE:

  • Cut a 6-1/4″ x 12″ piece of Real Red Card Stock and score it along the 12″ side at the 3-5/8″ and 7-1/4″ marks.

  • Align the card stock vertically with the 6-1/4″ side at the top.  Using the Big Shot, its multipurpose platform, and one cutting plate, place the card stock onto the cutting plate, and place the largest heart framelit onto the card stock slightly above the 7-1/4″ score line.

  • Place the second cutting plate onto the framelit and card stock, but place it about 1/16″ below the 7-1/4″ score line.  This creates your Big Shot sandwich.

  • Slowly push the sandwich into the Big Shot to the point that the cutting plates will catch under the roller.  Being careful to not move the cutting plates, roll the sandwich into and through the big shot with the point of the heart framelit entering first.
  • Remove the heart framelit from the card stock and the card stock will look like the picture below.

  • Turn the card stock heart underneath and cut along the 7-1/4″ fold line on the left and right sides and in the center.  Make sure you leave the heart connected to the rest of the card stock.

  • The front of the card base will look like this after cutting off the pieces.

  • Crease the card stock at the 3-5/8″ score line.
  • Set the card stock up and it will look like this:

  • Decorate your card as desired!

Stampin Up Feel Goods Stamp Set and Borders Scoring Plate

Don’t you just love the new Stampin Up Feel Goods Stamp Set?  I certainly do.  I used the set for the sentiment on my card as well as the new Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate.

This picture provides a closer view of the Feel Goods stamp image (the sentiment). Stampin Up Feel Goods

I used the Stampin Up Simply Scored Borders Scoring Plate for the bottom-front of the card.  I think it adds a nice touch.  This picture gives you a better view of that portion of the card.

Stampin Up Best of Love and More Amore DSP

Today I decided to make a card that spotlights the February Stampin Up Best of Love Stamp Set and More Amore DSP.  This stamp set is the second release of Stampin Up’s Best of 25 Years stamp sets.

I used the heart stamp from the Stampin Up Best of Love stamp set as is seen better in the picture below.

What is Stampin Up’s Best of 25 Years Stamps?

As part of its 25-year anniversary celebration, Stampin Up is bringing back some of its favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets.  It  will release one set per month during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each “Best of” set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Here are Some things to remember Regarding the Stampin Up Best of Program:

  • All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95,
  • Each month the stamp set released will have a new theme,
  • All of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
  • All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.

Another part of the program is a Collector’s Card.  With each purchase of a Best of stamp set, Stampin Up will include in the shipment a Collector’s Card and a 25-year proof of purchase sticker.  When you have purchased six stamp sets, you will have accumulated six stickers.  You place each sticker on the Collector’s Card and, after collecting six, send the card in to Stampin Up to redeem for a FREE stamp set of your choice, valued up to $14.95!

After you collect six more stickers from purchasing the last six Best of stamp sets, you send in another Collector’s Card for another FREE stamp set.  The FREE stamp sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.
