Card Made With Heartfelt Creations Botanic Window

Card Made With Heartfelt Creations Botanic Window

Welcome to Guneaux Designs.  My project share today is a card made with Heartfelt Creations Botanic Window Die.  I love the Botanic Window Die as it can be used to create various styles of windows and well as non-window projects (i.e., ornaments, etc.).  Here is the card I made with the die.

My card also features the Heartfelt Creations (HC) Classic Petunia Bouquet Stamp Set and Matching Die, and the HC Small Classic Petunia Stamp Set and Matching Die.

If you click on the above link of the  Botanical Window Die link, you’ll see that I used only the outside portion of the window die on my card.  I added to the back of the window a beautiful floral vellum, and to the front the hanging basket of floral images.

I submitted this card to Splitcoaststampers.com for two challenges; a color challenge and sketch challenge

Thanks for stopping by to enjoy my card made with Heartfelt Creations Botanic Window!

Lighthouse Greeting Card

LIGHTHOUSE GREETING CARD

Hello, my friends, and thanks for stopping by to see my Lighthouse Greeting Card. Lighthouses have a special meaning to me and I love including them on my cards when possible.  Lighthouses to me are symbolic for the Word.

This Lighthouse Greeting Card was made in honor of the Featured Stamper for last week on Splitcoaststampers.  Sharon (aka shendrian) was the Featured Stamper, and I selected this gorgeous card of Sharon’s to case.  I love her red lighthouse and, therefore, I created a red one.

Isn’t the blue wavy panel gorgeous?  I created it with a We Are Memory Keepers Wave Embossing Folder and Hero Arts Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink.

The lighthouse image was made with an old Rubber Stampede, Thy Word is a Lamp stamp.  I love the stamp, and looked for it on line to link to my post.  Unfortunately, I could only find it on eBay or Etsy.

May the verse on the card bring you joy today!

Hibiscus Greeting Card

Hello, my friends!  Hope you have some great plans for the weekend!  I appreciate you stopping by Guneaux Designs to see my Hibiscus Greeting Card.  I love Hibiscus plants, and I have many around my home.  One of my Hibiscus plants is the impetus for creating this Hibiscus Greeting Card.  It is a plant that produces large beautiful pink flowers.  Each flower on the Hibiscus plant is at least 6″ in size.

I created this Hibiscus Greeting Card to submit to a Splitcoaststampers.com  Ways To Use It Challenge, WT649 – Domestic Inspiration.  The challenge is to find something around your home that inspires you.  I draw inspiration from many of my Hibiscus plants as well as many other floral plants.  But this plant is right outside my crafting room window, and each time I look outside, I see the beautiful blooms.  This is the card I created from my inspiration piece.

Here is a photo of my inspiration piece:

While I was taking the above photo, I had a bee hanging round the flower.  Therefore, I included a bee on the Hibiscus on the bottom left of my card.  The Hibiscus flower and leaves were made with the ODBD Hibiscus Dies and ODBD Tropical Leaves.  I included pink prills on the Hibiscus stamen. The bee was made with the ODBD Butterfly and Bugs Stamp Set and Matching Dies.

To create the background of the card, I used several Hero Arts Distress Oxide Ink Pads to sponge on the sky and water.  Afterwards I used the ODBD Bon Voyage Stamp Set to stamp the Palm Trees in black ink, as well as the sentiment.  This stamp set is a great set if you like creating beach scenes.

To assemble the card, I created a black frame using the ODBD Pierceed Rectangles Dies to go around the beach scene.

My card base is black card stock to which I added a piece of pink card stock.  I attached the scene to the pink card stock and added the Hibiscus and leaves.

Please share your thoughts about my Hibiscus Greeting card!  I love reading your comments!

This card was selected for the Customer Card of the Day by Our Daily Bread Designs.  What an honor!!

Heartfelt Creations Winter’s Eve Card

Heartfelt Creations Winter’s Eve Card

Hello!  Today I am sharing my Heartfelt Creations Winter’s Eve Card  that I made for a challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com.  The hostess of the challenge wanted to “See the Light”.  The impetus for her challenge was related to the days getting shorter and having less light each day.  Therefore, my Heartfelt Creations Winter’s Eve Card shows much light from a window.

I used several of the products in this collection to create the card.   I used the Window Frame Stamp Set and Window Frame Dies to create the window.   The gorgeous designer paper I used is from the Heartfelt Creations Winter’s Eve Collection paper pad. The paper pad includes so many gorgeous designs.

Here are additional photos of my card:

Enjoy!!

Luke 23:44-46

“It was now about the sixth hour, and darkness came over the whole land until the ninth hour, for the sun stopped shining.  And the curtain of the temple was torn in two.  Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.”  When he had said this, he breathed his last.

Hero Arts July Monthly Kit

Hero Arts July Monthly Kit

Happy Sunday to you!!!  Thanks for stopping by to see my project that I created with stamps from Hero Arts July Monthly Kit.

For the longest time, I have wanted a garden trellis on which I would hang garden boots filled with garden soil and flowers.  I would place the trellis in my back-yard garden. Unfortunately, I have yet to achieve that dream, but maybe one day.

My card brings me joy as in my mind it is a replica of my dream.  I see behind the trellis my garden with the bright Florida sun and beautiful sky.  I see my garden flowers behind the trellis which are difficult for you to see, but they are there.  I created them by stamping in black ink floral images from an old Stampin’ Up! Stamp Set, the Garden Silhouettes.  My boots (shoes) represent those I envision hanging on my trellis with beautiful flowers growing out of the top of the boots.

After stamping and coloring my flowers, I fussy cut them, as well as the boots.  I hope one day to bring my dream to fruition!

I submitted this card for two challenges on Splitcoaststampers.com.

CottageCutz Jolly Snowman Heads Up

COTTAGECUTZ JOLLY SNOWMAN HEADS UP

Welcome!!  I have a card share for you today that should bring laughter for you!  My card is a CottageCutz Jolly Snowman Heads Up card.  This week on Splitcoaststampers.com, there is a Clean and Simple Challenge that is titled, “Head in the Clouds”.  The challenge hostess wanted to see creations around this theme.  I decided to take the challenge literally.  So my card features the CottageCutz Jolly Snowman with his head in the clouds attached by black thread to the snowman’s arm.  I thought a “Heads Up” sentiment would be appropriate.

I wanted a cloudy background for a snowy scene, thus I cut some card stock in scallops of various sizes and used that as a cloud template.  Using the template, I sponged on some blue Hero Arts Distress Oxide inks and spritzed the clouds with water to get the appearance of it snowing.

Subsequently, I cut some snowbanks, covered them with sparkly crystal granules, and attached them to the card base.

Enjoy the card, and let me know if it made you laugh!
