Heartfelt Creations Songs of Spring

Heartfelt Creations Songs of Spring

Are you ready for Spring?  I sure am!  It will be here according to the calendar in about six weeks!  I am trying to move it along by creating a card that relates to April Showers Bring May Flowers!  I am sharing with you today my Heartfelt Creations Songs of Spring card.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

“But mark this:  There will be terrible times in the last days.  People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power.  Have nothing to do with them.”

Are we living in these days???

John 17:20-21

Heartfelt Creations Sweetheart Borders Valentine

Heartfelt Creations Sweetheart Borders Valentine

Welcome, and happy Wednesday!!  My card share today is a Heartfelt Creations Sweetheart Borders Valentine!  Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and I need to get cards made.  This valentine is in non-traditional colors because it is my submission to Splitcoaststampers.com color challenge for this week.

The color combination for the challenge is Stampin’ Up! Night of Navy, Lemon Lime Twist, and Powder Pink.  Stef (aka – dahlia 19) was the color challenge hostess, and I was so happy to see that she selected navy; a color not selected often, if at all.

Ephesians 4-13

Apostle Paul said:

“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Make every effort to keep the unit of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”

Hero Arts Color Layering Cardinal

Hero Arts Color Layering Cardinal

Hello, and thanks for stopping by Guneaux Designs!  I greatly appreciate your visit, and hope you are inspired by my creations.  My creation for you today is a card that features the Hero Arts Color Layering Cardinal Stamp Set.  I made this card in response to a challenge on Splitcoaststampers.com (SCS).

Each Sunday, SCS selects a member of the site to serve as the “Featured Stamper” for the week.  Other members may CASE one or more of the Featured Stamper’s cards and post it into the related gallery.  My card is a CASE of Karen’s (aka. Art Deco Diva) card featuring the same cardinal.  You can see hers HERE.

Luke 20:45-47

“While all the people were listening, Jesus said to his disciples, “Beware of the teachers of the law.  They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.  They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers.  Such men will be punished most severely.”

Frederique Morrel Artwork Inspiration

FREDERIQUE MORREL ARTWORK INSPIRATION

Welcome!  Today I created my first shadow box card that was inspired by the Frederique Morrel Artwork site The Splitcoaststampers.com Inspiration Challenge for today featured this site.  It is an awesome site of a different type of art, which is textile art.  The artwork seems to be driven primarily by deer, birds, bunnies, and flowers.  It was difficult for me to select one piece of art; therefore, I created this card as my Frederique Morrel Artwork Inspiration piece.  I tried to capture the essence of the site when creating the card.  The bunnies and deer in the shadow box are created from fabric.

Luke 15:3-7

“Then Jesus told them this parable:  “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.  Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?  And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home.  Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’  I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”

Gina K Designs Peaceful Holidays Stamp Set

GINA K DESIGNS PEACEFUL HOLIDAYS STAMP SET

Welcome to Guneaux Designs!  Are you staying warm?  It is quite cold in my part of Florida!  Last night the temperature was around 20°!  Now that is cold for Florida.  I better understand northern crafters saying that it is a good time to stay inside and craft!

That is exactly what I am doing; however, I created this card a couple weeks ago but have not had time to post it.  The card features the Gina K Designs Peaceful Holidays Stamp Set.

Colossians 3:1-4 (NIV)

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.  For you died, [meaning when becoming a believer, we are no longer part of the old Adam but part of Christ] and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”
