ODBD Surprise Box

I had great fun creating this Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) Surprise Box.  It took hours for me to complete, but it was so worth it as it is for my precious granddaughter.  The box is not for her birthday, as it may indicate.  It is a reminder to celebrate life.  Our lives can change in a split second and make you realize how important it is to celebrate life and your loved ones.

This week’s Splitcoaststamper’s Tuesday Color Challenge is hosted by Jeanne.  She selected the color combination of SU Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, and So Saffron, with a dessert option of balloons.  These colors are a beautiful combination!

Joshua 10:12-14

“On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Isreal, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Isreal:  “O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”  So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar.  The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.  There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a man.  Surely the Lord was fighting for Isreal!”
