Autumn Splendor

Autumn Splendor

Are you having a wonderful fall season?  Fall, also known as autumn, is the time of the year that the season changes from summer to winter in the Northern Hemisphere.  The deciduous trees’ leaves turn into awesome colors before falling from the trees.  Then there is the wonderful task we all love to hate; raking the leaves.

I hope that you are experiencing the typical autumn with the awesome array of colors.  I live in Florida where the official memo announcing autumn never arrives.  I miss the wonderful season, and I try to enjoy it through crafting.  My card share today is one reflecting autumn splendor.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise —the fruit of lips that confess his name.”

This week’s color challenge on Splitcoaststampers was to create using Stampin’ Up! (SU) colors of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Cherry Cobbler.  I submitted this card for the challenge. Continue reading

SU Autumn Splendor

Today I have a very clean and simple card for you!  It features a retired Stampin’ Up! (SU) stamp set, the SU Autumn Splendor.  autumn-leaf_1

This card took me about 5 minutes to create!  I probably should create more clean and simply cards.  I submitted the card for a “Clean and Simple” (CAS) challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  The challenge, CAS394, required a one layer card with a nature themed stamp.  I simply embossed a double-stitched rectangle on the card front and stamped an autumn leaf covered in various fall colors. I stamped the “many thanks” sentiment in metallic gold.  And that’s it!  How’s that for a CAS card?
