Are you having a wonderful fall season? Fall, also known as autumn, is the time of the year that the season changes from summer to winter in the Northern Hemisphere. The deciduous trees’ leaves turn into awesome colors before falling from the trees. Then there is the wonderful task we all love to hate; raking the leaves.
I hope that you are experiencing the typical autumn with the awesome array of colors. I live in Florida where the official memo announcing autumn never arrives. I miss the wonderful season, and I try to enjoy it through crafting. My card share today is one reflecting autumn splendor.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise —the fruit of lips that confess his name.”
This week’s color challenge on Splitcoaststampers was to create using Stampin’ Up! (SU) colors of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Cherry Cobbler. I submitted this card for the challenge.
I used a leaf stamp from the SU Autumn Splendor stamp set for my card. I covered the leaf stamp with the SU markers in the three selected colors and stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White Card Stock. Subsequently, I covered the leaf with VersaMark ink, stamped the image again, and applied and heat set Clear Embossing Powder. I used two circle dies to cut out the leaf and create a frame for the leaf.
I embossed, adhered together, and wrapped with a fall leaves ribbon the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd panels. I attached them to the white card stock. I adhered the leaf and its frame over the ribbon. I added three tiny leaves that match the type of the large leaf around the right side of the large leaf. Candy dots, a bow, and white embossed sentiment complete the card.
Have a blessed week, and thanks for stopping by Guneaux Designs to see my Autumn Splendor card.
