I have another Stampin Up Madison Avenue stamp set greeting card for you today, and this one features the beautiful Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper. Both products become available on January 22.

SUPPLIES USED FOR THE STAMPIN UP MADISON AVENUE & SYCAMORE STREET CARD:

Stamps: Stampin Up Madison Avenue Stamp Set (129660, You Are Loved Stamp Set (1237779)

Paper: Rich Razzleberry Card Stock, Pool Party Card Stock, Whisper White Card Stock (100730), and Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (127540 – Sale-a-bration)

Ink: Stampin Up Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, and Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink

Accessories: Retired Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain Ribbon, Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack (130812 – Sale-a-bration), and Basic Rhinestones (119246)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING THE CARD:

Cut an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock (for card base), a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pool Party Card Stock, and a 3-3/4″ x 4″ piece of Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper

Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper

Adhere a piece of ribbon around the center of the Sycamore Street DSP (I used the retired Rich Razzleberry Ribbon as that is one of the colors within the DSP.

Sycamore Street DSP

Adhere the DSP to the Pool Party Card Stock and then to the Rich Razzleberry card base.

Sytcamore Street DSP

Using the Stampin Up Madison Avenue Stamp Set and Pool Party and Summer Starfruit Classic Ink, stamp the images onto a scrap of Whisper White Card Stock.

Madison Avenue Stamp Set

Cover the “Thinking of You” sentiment stamp image with Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink and stamp it below the flowers.

Stampin Up Madison Avenue

Mat the above with Pool Party Card Stock and Rich Razzleberry Card Stock.

Stampin Up Madison Avenue

Add Basic Rhinestones to the flowers and tie a small bow with the Sycamore Street Ribbon (Pool Party) and attach it to the lower-right corner.

Adhere the matted sentiment to the center of the Sycamore Street DSP and enjoy!

Simple isn’t easy for me; however, today I have a VERY simple card for you that features one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets – the Stampin Up Madison Avenue, which is free when you purchase $50 of Stampin’ Up! products.

This is such an easy card to make and is perfect if you need to a quick card. In case you haven’t noticed, I slightly tilted the stem and leaves of the flowers, and that was on purpose. No instructions on how to make this card is necessary; wouldn’t you agree? It is the “simple” of simple!

I am in LOVE — with the Stampin Up More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper — that is! On my Valentine Card today, I used a diamond strip template to create the left side of the card. This strip shows both sides of the design that I used from the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper. This card also features a valentine stamp set that is not current but still available on Stampin’ Up!’s Clearance Rack.

More Amore DSP Isn’t the ribbon on the card beautiful? It is an upcoming Pool Party ribbon that is wonderful to work with. Also, the Pool Party button will debut on January 21, at Sale-a-bration.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Cut an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Pool Party Card Stock and fold in the center for the card base.
Emboss two rows of hearts on the left side of the card base using the hearts Adorning Accents Embossing Folder.

Cut a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the DSP and adhere it to the card base on the right side.

You Are Loved

Cut a 1″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Primrose Petals Card Stock, emboss it with the hearts Adorning Accents Embossing Folder, cut one end into a “V” shape, and adhere to the center of the DSP.

You Are Loved

Cover the stamp image with Pool Party Classic Ink, stamp it onto a small piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock, and cut the card stock down to approximately 3-1/4″ x 1-3/4″.

You Are Loved

Cut a piece of Primrose Petals Card Stock to form a mat for the sentiment.
Cut a piece of Primrose Petals 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and tie into a bow. Attach to the left side of the sentiment and add three Rhinestones.

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and we’re all thinking about making beautiful Stampin Up Valentine Cards, such as my card share for today.

Stampin Up Valentine Cards 2013

Do you have retired Stampin Up products that you find yourself still using? Aren’t there some items you just cannot give up? Well, I experience this from time to time, as I did when making this Stampin Up Valentine Card.

This valentine card is simple to make but can take a little time because I used a lot of the retired Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder (don’t know why the item was retired!), which takes some time. You can see better in the below picture all the elements on which I used the embossing powder.

The embossing powder was used on the Whisper White Card Stock piece to the left on which I used the Adorning Accents Edgelits (125595). It was also used on the blending ink art piece (click HERE for instructions on the technique), the laser-cut heart on the bottom of the multiple layers of hearts, and the second heart from the top. The laser-cut heart, which is Primrose Petals in color, is in the new Stampin Up More Amore Specialty DSP (129309).
