Stampin Up Best of Love and More Amore DSP

Today I decided to make a card that spotlights the February Stampin Up Best of Love Stamp Set and More Amore DSP.  This stamp set is the second release of Stampin Up’s Best of 25 Years stamp sets.

I used the heart stamp from the Stampin Up Best of Love stamp set as is seen better in the picture below.

What is Stampin Up’s Best of 25 Years Stamps?

As part of its 25-year anniversary celebration, Stampin Up is bringing back some of its favorite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into 12 sets.  It  will release one set per month during 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each “Best of” set will also include a never-before-seen image!

Here are Some things to remember Regarding the Stampin Up Best of Program:

  • All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95,
  • Each month the stamp set released will have a new theme,
  • All of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
  • All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.

Another part of the program is a Collector’s Card.  With each purchase of a Best of stamp set, Stampin Up will include in the shipment a Collector’s Card and a 25-year proof of purchase sticker.  When you have purchased six stamp sets, you will have accumulated six stickers.  You place each sticker on the Collector’s Card and, after collecting six, send the card in to Stampin Up to redeem for a FREE stamp set of your choice, valued up to $14.95!

After you collect six more stickers from purchasing the last six Best of stamp sets, you send in another Collector’s Card for another FREE stamp set.  The FREE stamp sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.

Stampin Up Best of Love Stamp Set

Stampin Up All Dressed Up & Dress Up Framelits

The Stampin Up All Dressed Up stamp set and the Dress Up Framelits take me back to my childhood when I played with paper dolls.  It was such fun to dress and re-dress the dolls with their paper dresses.  That fun feeling comes back when using this stamp set and framelits.

The dress on my card share today reminds me of times when I would get all dressed up for Valentine’s Day and a special dinner with a special someone.  Those were the days (lol).

The beautiful Stampin Up More Amore Designer Series Paper was used for the first layer beneath the Red Glimmer Paper dress that drapes the dress form cutout.  A sparkling diamond necklace (just kidding – it’s a rhinestone necklace) rests upon the neck of the dress form.  Can you imagine how gorgeous you would look wearing this dress while sporting a fabulous diamond necklace?  (Imagination running wild!)

Here’s a picture of a closeup of the gorgeous necklace:

The Sale-a-bration Pool Party Sycamore Street 1/4″ Ribbon separates the dress from the “All” “Dressed” “Up” sentiment.  The tiny 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch was used to cut out scallop circles on which to stamp the sentiment, and the circles rest upon 1″ squares that were cut out with the 1″ Square Punch.

STAMPIN UP ALL DRESSED UP

Stampin Up Secret Garden & Sycamore Street DSP

The largest flower in the Stampin Up Secret Garden Stamp Set is beautiful!  I’m not sure what type of flower it is so I made it whatever I wanted it to be (lol).  It is the feature on today’s card share, as well and the Stampin Up Sycamore Sycamore Street DSP.

Stampin Up Secret Garden

I really like the colors Pool Party and Calypso Coral together.  I know that the design colors from the Stampin Up Sycamore Street DSP that I used are actually Pool Party and Tangerine Tango.  However, the Tangerine Tango in the design is not dominate, so I used Calypso Coral. This DSP is part of Stampin Up’s Sale-a-bration, and you know what that means!  When you purchase $50 in Stampin Up products, you can receive the DSP for FREE.  We all like FREE, don’t we?

Here is a closeup of the flower from the Stampin Up Secret Garden that I colored with various alcohol-based orange inks.

Stampin Up Secret GardenThe following picture is a closeup of the new Stampin Up Designer Builder Brads that I used.  I punched out two butterflies with the Spring Catalog’s Bitty Butterfly Punch  and adhered them to the center of the brads and placed epoxy bubbles on top (the epoxy bubbles come with the brads).

 Stampin Up Secret Garden

I used the Stampin Up Ovals Collection Framelits to cut ovals from Pool Party and Calypso Coral Card Stock and attached the flower and brads.  The sentiment, “Just Because”, is from the Sale-a-bration Vintage Verses Stamp Set (another FREE product when purchasing $50 in products).Stampin Up Secret Garden

Stampin Up Tea for Two DSP

Loving the  Stampin Up Tea for Two DSP, I made another card that is just like the one I shared yesterday, except I used another design from the Designer Series Paper and other embellishments.  Today’s card focuses on the following design from the Stampin Up Tea for Two DSP.

Stampin Up Tea For Two DSP

Here is the card.  I used the same sentiment that I used on yesterday’s card and I created it again with My Digital Studio (MDS).  Among many other things, MDS is great for producing sentiments that you don’t have on a stamp.

Stampin Up Tea For Two DSP

I’m not sure which of the two cards (yesterday’s and today’s) I like the best.  Which one do you like best?

Here is a closeup of the sentiment on today’s card.  Guess what I used around the bottom layer of the sentiment?  I won’t list the item in my “Supplies Used” section so you don’t need to look there for the answer. (LOL)

Stampin Up Tea For Two

Stampin Up Tea for Two DSP Valentine Card

The following design from the Stampin Up Tea for Two Designer Series Paper (DSP) that has the circles gave me two ideas that I incorporated into the Valentine card below.

Stampin Up Tea for Two DSP

One Design From Stampin Up’s Tea For Two DSP

Stampin Up Tea for Two DSP Valentine Card

One of the ideas is obvious, and that is I used the Stampin’ Up! 1-3/4″ Circle Punch to punch out two of the circle designs and replaced them with other Designer Series Paper.  The substituted paper is a design from the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper that becomes available on January 22 when Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration begins.

The other idea is related to the circle pattern of the paper’s design.  After thought, I knew that I wanted to create a sentiment related to circles.  So I created with My Digital Studio the sentiment, “My love for you is like a circle; it never ends!”.

The following is a closeup of the card’s center with the sentiment.

Tea for Two Valentine Card

I covered the sentiment and its mat with either glitter and/or Stampin’ Up!’s Crystal Effects.  To make the card appear more like a Valentine Card, I added hearts as corner pieces.
