AI WC Dogs Set

Did you have a good weekend?  I hope so.  Have you seen the new 2018 release from Art Impressions?  Art Impressions (AI) released multiple watercolor sets like the AI WC Dogs Set.  The little doggies are so cute.  I used the set along with some AI floral and bench sets to stamp and watercolor the image on this card.

Titus 2:11-14

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.  It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age while we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.”

Penny Black Tulip Bouquet Card

Penny Black Tulip Bouquet Card

Hello!!  Welcome to Guneaux Designs!  My card share today features a new stamp from Penny Black; the Penny Black Tulip Bouquet.  I created the card to submit to today’s color challenge at Splitcoaststampers.com.  The hostess for the color challenge selected the Stampin’ Up! (SU) colors of Tranquil Tide, Sweet Sugarplum, and Rich Razzleberry.  This week’s dessert option is to make a one-layer card.  My card is a one-layer card and I used Copic sketch markers closely related to the color combination to color the Penny Black Tulip Bouquet image on my card.

Psalm 34:11-16

“Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.  Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.  Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.  The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.”

Isaiah 53:3-7 (NIV)

He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.  Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.  But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.  We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.  He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

Praise God for our salvation through our belief that Jesus Christ was hung on the cross, died for our iniquities, and was buried and resurrected in three days!
