I know you must have heard about it, and now it is available to order! What is it? It is Stampin’ Up!’s new Envelope Punch Board!
STAMPIN’ UP! ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD FEATURES:
It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!
It’s super easy to use: It looks intimidating at first glance, but when you see all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score.
It’s small and lightweight: This makes it easy for you to take it with you when attending classes and club meetings. It is super portable and easy to store. It is small and light enough that you could use it while watching a soccer match, at a park, at a friend’s for craft night-anywhere.
It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.
It’s easy to keep it all together: The stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don’t have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won’t lose them!).
The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much! It costs $19.95 (item number 133774)
It will be in next year’s annual catalog, so it’s here to stay.

Stamping With Guneaux Designs
By
Beverly Polen
While shopping at Michaels recently, I came across this beautiful bird’s nest stamp. I had to buy it as I love stamps featuring birds. I created a Stampin’ Up! Gingham Garden DSP Bird’s Nest Card with the stamp.
The stamp image is called Nestled Bird. After coloring the image with various Copic markers, I realized that the Gingham Garden DSP blue and yellow design goes perfectly with it. Therefore, I used the design for the card’s first layer.
The picture to the right provides a closer view of the bird and nest. The bird picture below was my inspiration for coloring the bird on the card. I don’t know what type of bird it is but I found it to be beautiful.
This picture shows the embossing I use on the back of all my cards. The circular text says Guneaux Designs and my name is in the center.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my Gingham Garden DSP Bird’s Nest Card! I made it for my brother who has been quite sick lately and I want him to know that I am thinking of him.
What a gorgeous paper is the Stampin’ Up! Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper! It has beautiful designs in the Stampin’ Up! colors of Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Melon Mamba, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper White. The Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) might be my favorite DSP from the group of sneak peeks. Here is a greeting card made with this paper.
The primary element of this card is the flower. The top layer of the flower is made with the same design from the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper as is the second layer on the card. At first glance they look different. I made the top layer of the flower with the Stampin’ Up! Modern Label Punch(119849). The Stampin’ Up! Blossom Punch(125603) was used to create the Daffodil Delight and Melon Mamba flowers beneath the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper pieces.
The flower is topped off with a Stampin’ Up! Builder Brad (129329) from the Spring Catalog. A Midnight Muse In Color Dahlia (Dahlia Assortment– 127556) rests on top of the brad.
A piece of Midnight Muse Stitched Satin Ribbon (126847) adorns the left side of the card. The flowers running down the pieces of Daffodil Delight and Midnight Muse Card Stock are made with a non-Stampin’ Up! punch.
As for a sentiment for the card, it does not have one. Sometimes I like to exclude a sentiment until I am ready to use the card, as in this case. So, what do you think about the card?
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and got to enjoy some rubber stamping! Today’s project is a Stampin Up Bloomin Bouquet made with paper flowers.

Stampin’ Up! Tricky Tip Tuesday – Pretty Pom Poms (Content belongs to Stampin’ Up!)
Today, Stampin’ Up! Tricky Tip Tuesday is dedicated to pom poms! They were big in the 60s—so it has been fun (for some of us!) to see them make a comeback in the crafting world. Let’s start with Baker’s Twine (US/CAN) mini pom poms.
Just follow the easy steps pictured below.
If you would like to create a garland, just thread a needle with a length of Baker’s Twine and run it through the pom poms.
*****
After I finished making the Baker’s Twine pom poms, I began to wonder what would happen if I wound 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon around a fork instead of Baker’s Twine. To my surprise, the result looked very much like a marigold!
Then I thought: How can I create a bigger pom pom flower? The old-fashioned way: using cardboard donut shapes made with super-thin white cardboard, a 2-1/2″ Circle Punch, a 1/2″ Circle Punch, and our Daffodil Delight 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon. When I finished winding, cutting, and tying, out popped a daffodil . . . just the thing for embellishing a Mother’s Day gift! (Believe me . . . I don’t usually get this lucky!)
I could have kept going with flower-making . . . but then I saw a paper pom pom garland on Pinterest. I HAD to try that, too. The result: today’s Tricky Tip features three ways to make small pom pom projects—using Baker’s Twine, 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon, and Designer Series Paper. They are all so easy and fun!
Got any more pom pom crafting ideas? We’d love to hear about them!
The white daffodil petals were made using the Big Shot, the Fun Flower Bigz L Die, and our White Creped Filter Paper.
