Julee Tilman’s MOJO Monday Challenge 502

Hi, friends!  I am excited that the MOJO Monday Challenges have re-launched recently.  Julee Tilman’s MOJO Monday Challenge 502 is a great sketch and I used it to create the following card.

This is a copy of Julee’s great sketch:

2 Corinthians 12:7-9

Regarding Paul’s thorn, he said, “To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me.  Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.  But he said to me, “my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”  Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

I used patterned paper from Heartfelt Creations (HFC) for most of the card.  Each panel is from the HFC Snow Kissed Paper Collection.  The pine and berry cutouts are from Sizzix Holiday Greens, Mini, Tim Holtz Alterations Die Set.

I needed an item to match the color of the snowman’s hat, thus I used the Martha Stewart snowflake punch to punch a burgundy snowflake.  A burgundy snowflake is as realistic as a snowman skating, right?  LOL.

The following photo is of the card’s inside.

I did not add a sentiment to the card as at this moment a recipient is unknown.

I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOU STOPPING BY AND LEAVING A COMMENT.  I WILL RETURN YOUR KINDNESS IF YOU LEAVE YOUR WEB ADDRESS!

COMMENTS WILL BE VISIBLE UPON APPROVAL.
