Time flies by and I’ve not posted some cards that I made. So today I want to quickly share those few cards with limited information. Enjoy!
This card was made for the Splitcoaststampers Clean and Simple Challenge, CAS362, hosted by Carla (uvgotcarla). CAS362 involves making a purple birthday card, as purple is Carla’s favorite color and she has an up coming birthday! Stamps: SU Birthday Blooms Stamp Set; Paper: SU Whisper White CS and Lavender Lace CS; Card Size: A2; Ink: SU Perfect Plum (sentiment) and Copics ; Accessories: Spellbinders Wonky Rectangle Dies and SU Sequins
I made this card in response to two Splitcoaststampers challenges: Peggy’s (pegmac71) Color Challenge, CC570, and Carey’s (cpayette) Sketch Challenge, SC580. There is a touch of glitter glue in the center of one flower, which is for “dessert” (extra points). Peggy selected beautiful colors for her challenge, and they go so well together! She chose SU Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, and Mossy Meadow. Carey’s sketch challenge involves hexagons! This was a challenging sketch! However, I did the best I could with it. Stamps: SU Abundant Hope Paper: SU Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and Whisper White; Card Size: 4-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ (odd size); Ink: SU Hello Honey, Cherry Cobbler, and Mossy Meadow; Accessories: SU Punches, Spellbinders Hexagon Dies, and SU Candy Dots
The featured stamper for this week is on Splitcoaststampers is Jenny Alia! Congratulations, Jenny, for the great accomplishment! Your gallery has many beautiful cards which made it difficult for me to pick one. However, this is the one I picked to CAS. Jenny’s floral card inspired me to make this card in in honor of her superb artwork. The changes I made from her card are: Shape of card, Flowers, Colors, Sentiment. and Papers. Stamps: SU Blooming With Happines; Paper: ODBD Pastel Paper Pack, SU So Saffron and SU Whisper White; Card Size: A4; Ink: SU So Saffron, Pale Plum; and Accessories: ODBD Asters and Leaves Dies, Spellbinders Signs of Spring 1 Dies, ODBD Double Stitched Circles Dies, and ODBD Double Stitched Rectangles
Celebrating the Daffodil is the Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS365) on Splitcoaststampers. Daffodils are one of the signs of Spring, and there are so many beautiful colors of them. I chose the typical color family of yellows for coloring my daffodils. I added some Ballet Blue and Concord Crush flowers in the scene just for variety. I encased my floral scene with a modified Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments Dies cut out. Stamps: SU Abundant Hope, Nature Walk, Silhouette Sentiments, ODBD Many Thanks; Paper: SU Ballet Blue, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White; Card Size: A2; Ink: SU Classic Inks and Copics; Accessories: Spellbinders A2 Tranquil Moments Dies
