Altenew Build A Flower – Hibiscus

Altenew Build A Flower – Hibiscus

Know what I love?  This sentiment on my card with a question mark fit nicely into the Dirty Dozen May Theme, “Mother May I?”  What I love, among many other things, is my Hibiscus plants that have started blooming so beautifully.  To that end, my card features Hibiscus flowers that I made using the Altenew Build A Flower – Hibiscus stamp set.

Psalm 68:19

“Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.  selah”

To build one Hibiscus flower, it takes 8 stamps from the stamp set, and 4 to build one leaf.  Thus, I had a lot of stamping with multiple inks to create one flower.  You can see the colors used in the supply list.  After coloring the flowers and leaves, I decided some of the leaves look so similar to the SU Bermuda Bay color that I used that color of cardstock to form the card base.

Before attaching the flowers and leaves, I used the Hero Arts Delicate Petals stencil and Bermuda Bay Ink to stencil the front of the card base.  Afterward, I left the stencil on the card front and sprayed onto it a White Iridescent Shimmer Spray.

I attached the flowers and the “Know what I love?” sentiment to the card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you find inspiration from my card and the Word and will return soon!
