Avery Elle Spring Bouquet Card
My friends, I have completed my time as a Dirty Girl on Splitcoaststampers and can release cards I have made in the last six months. This is one of those cards. I made this card for my younger daughter for Mother’s Day. The card features the Avery Elle Spring Bouquet Stamp Set. In my neck of the woods, May and June are the months that we see our beautiful Lilie flowers bloom. This is my younger daughter’s favorite flower. Thus, I created this card for her from her three-year-old daughter (i.e., my precious granddaughter) for Mother’s Day.
Psalm 127:3
“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward from Him.”
I created the card in the shape of a vase using Heartfelt Creations (HFC) Fleur Border Basics Dies and Butterfly Dreams Patterned Paper. I stamped the Lilies with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and colored the flowers with Copic Sketch Markers. Then I die cut them with the related dies and fussy cut the outline of the flowers and leaves to remove the white edges. After attaching them to the front of the card, I die cut the Happy Mother’s Day sentiment and attached it to the top of the card.
My three-year-old granddaughter is learning to write! She blows me away with her advancement. I shared the card with her before giving it to her mom and had her write, “I love you mom” and sign her name, Mikayla. This photo is of the message she wrote.
