Altenew Clear Stamps Peony Bouquet

Welcome to Guneaux Designs, special friends!  Today I have a card share for you that features the Altenew Clear Stamps Peony Bouquet.  I made the card to submit to a Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge this week.  The hostess of the challenge selected the colors of Pink Pirouette, Black, and White.  A dessert option was to include vellum.  I chose to pass on the dessert.

Titus 3:5-7

“He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.  He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”

The Altenew Peony Bouquet Clear Stamp Set is a multi-stamping set to add layers of ink to create an image.  Each peony on the card was stamped three times with three different stamps and inks to form the flower.  I created two such flowers and followed the same process to create three different types of leaves.

On a piece of Neenah Linen cardstock, I stamped the berries and leaves on the top-left and bottom-right sides of the panel.  Using a Heartfelt Creations oval die, I cut an oval near the center of the panel.  I repeated this process with a piece of black cardstock and attached it behind the oval on the white panel.  I used an Anna Griffin embossing folder to emboss the panel.   I adhered the flowers around the oval that allows the black card base to show through and added a black ribbon down the left side of the white panel.

This card will be a Mother’s Day card, and a sentiment will be added later.
