Serena, A Digital Stamp Image
When I look at this young girl image on my card, I think of Stevie Wonder’s song, “Isn’t She Lovely”. She is Serena, a digital stamp image that I purchased from The Paper Shelter. She has her hand over her heart as she peeks with one eye from under her gorgeous hat with a lovely pink flower!
Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what god’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
It may be difficult to see, but her toenails, the buttons on her shoes, and a flower on her left shoulder are heat embossed with Hero Arts Pink Prisma Embossing Powder, which came in a Hero Arts Monthly Kit. The card is covered in hearts, including ones that grow on a vine! I used a Heartfelt Creations stamp and die set to create the vines of hearts.
The card is a gate-fold card with both sides of the designer papers cut out with Hero Arts Tag Frames dies. The pink designer paper was cut using the largest of the frame dies, and the green designer paper with the next to the largest frame die. I glued both cards together.
Because I was not using any measurements for the card folds, I simply folded both sides to meet in the center and creased the folds.
I cut a frame from the pink paper and attached it to the center of the card’s inside. I attached Serena onto the frame using foam tape for dimension. When the card is open, Serena appears to be suspended in the air. However, when the card is closed, her foot and shoe are stepping on the bottom portion of the card; thereby, no suspension. Her foot and hat keep the card closed when the edges of the card are tucked under both.
Thanks for stopping by! May you be inspired by Serena! I enjoy reading your comments and would be grateful if you gave me feedback on the card.

That imagine is just adorable, Bev, and you colored her beautifully. She looks so innocent. Love the wonderful pastels you used as well as the fact that you carried the heart theme throughout the card. This is beautifully done!
