Penny Black Snowy Hamlet
Welcome back, my special friends! Today I have a card for you that features the Penny Black Snowy Hamlet stamp. I created this card to respond to an inspiration challenge on Splitcoaststampers. This is the site the hostess chose for us to draw inspiration from. The following photos are of my card and inspiration piece.
Luke 22:42&43
When Jesus went to the garden at the Mount of Olives to pray before being arrested, he prayed in anguish and said:
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.”
Did you know that God has assigned each believer an angel who will come to strengthen us when we are feeling weak? Just pray and ask God to send an angel to strengthen you.
I stamped the image on white cardstock and used copics to color it. I messed up my first try; therefore, I fussy cut the good portion and placed it inside the card.
This photo is a closeup of the scene.
After coloring the scene, I used Copic White Paint and a watercolor brush to flick the paint onto the card to produce the appearance of snow. I finished the card by embossing a Merry Christmas sentiment.
I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOU STOPPING BY AND LEAVING A COMMENT. I WILL RETURN YOUR KINDNESS IF YOU LEAVE YOUR WEB ADDRESS!
COMMENTS WILL BE VISIBLE UPON APPROVAL.
