Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood Collection
Today’s color challenge on Splitcoaststampers is to use the Stampin’ Up! colors of Daffodil Delight, Pink Pirouette, and Old Olive. I created an Easter card for the challenge using the Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood Collection.
John 19:16-19
“Finally Pilate handed him [Jesus] over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. Carrying his own cross, he went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). Here they crucified him, and with him two others—one on each side and Jesus in the middle. Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
Fortunately, I had made the dogwood flowers recently but had not used them. The challenge gave me the opportunity to use them.
I used the designer paper from the collection to be the centerpiece on the card. Because the design is a dove, I die cut a dove and attached it to the bottom corner.
Enjoy!!
