Art Impressions Dogs, Flowers, and Rustic Container
Hello, and welcome! So happy that you stopped by. Today I am sharing a card made with Art Impressions Dogs, Flowers, and Rustic Container stamps. I love this time of the year when I can fill rustic or wooden containers with soil and flowers. I actually have two 5′ long palm tree log containers that I cut out the centers so I could plant flowers in them during springtime. Thinking that I need to fulfill that task brought to mind the subjects for my card – flowers and a puppy in a rustic container. Water coloring is not a skill of mine; however, I decided to give it a try.
1 Corinthians 3:11-15
“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss (of a reward; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.”
After stamping, masking, and water coloring the images, I cut them out at an angle using an ODBD die. I used the same die to cut an angled oval from a die cut piece of blue paper to fit the watercolored image into. I added this to a white card base.
The CottageCutz Sweet and Precious sentiments are possibly overwhelming for the card, but I used them anyway to share my thoughts about the cute puppy in the basket surrounded by flowers.
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment!
