Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers
Hello, friends! I hope your week has been great thus far. Today I am sharing with you a card I made yesterday for a color challenge on Splitcoaststampers. The hostess’ color combination is Stampin’ Up! colors of Rich Razzleberry, Mango Melody, and Granite Gray and a dessert option to add designer series paper. I used the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers stamp set to create my card and colored the image with Copic Sketch Markers closely related to these colors.
Joshua 1:9:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
To create this card I stamped the floral image onto X-Press-It Blending Cardstock and colored the image. After coloring the image, I added a mix of Copic White Paint and Rich Razzleberry Refiller and added spots on the cardstock. I wasn’t happy with it, so I fussy cut around the right side of the flowers. Then I die cut a piece of gray cardstock that would flow around the flowers and added a sentiment. I glued all the pieces, including the designer paper, to a white card base.
Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Wow! What a spectacular job you did coloring this gorgeous stamp! I love the soft gray panel and thanks for describing how you did that. I thought it looked pale gray but then thought it was just the lighting. I BOW to you for that fussy cutting but the effect is so worth it!
