Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose Card

Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose Card

Hello, and welcome to Guneaux Designs!  I created a card a couple months ago for an Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers, but I never got it posted to this site until today.  The inspiration site selected for the challenge was Hayneedle.  I selected this as the inspiration piece for creating my Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose Card.

2 Corinthians 4:18

“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.  For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal”

Of the two photos within the inspiration piece, I chose this one to case:

I used the Bokeh Technique to create the blue, white, and yellow circles on the background panel, which I covered with a piece of vellum.  Then I created the pink flowers and green leaves with the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Rose stamp set and matching dies.  I adhered prills into the center of each flower.  After attaching the flowers and leaves atop the vellum, I stamped the sentiment onto the top-left of the card.  The sentiment is from an ODBD Ahola stamp set.

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY.  I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY CARD ENOUGH TO GIVE ME FEEDBACK.  I will RETURN THE FAVOR AS LONG AS YOU LEAVE YOUR WEBSITE ADDRESS IN THE COMMENTS!

Comments will be visible upon approval.

  1. Wow, those flowers are so eye-catching and gorgeous!! Really love how they pop out on your card design and your background is done very nicely to make the flowers look so pretty! Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog! HUGS

  2. Oh what a fabulous card, Bev! I’m in awe of how you created beautiful and real-looking flowers on this! Those petals and prills are amazing . I haven’t used bokeh technique yet, but I’ll have to try it cause we always need something different in our new cards. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a lovely day!♡
