Isn’t he so cute; the bird that is? He’s looking at himself in the mirror! This card features a Stampin’ Up! stamp set that debuts on June 1! It is called Papaya Collage Stamp Set (126612). All of the stamp images are from this set. The designer series paper (DSP) used is the beautiful Floral District DSP (126919) that also debuts on June 1!

If you reached this post, you must be comfortable with using a computer, right? Believe me there are plenty of people out there who aren’t. Since we’ve decided that you’re comfortable with using a computer, you must also be comfortabble with using various computer software, right?
In that case, let me ask you a few questions
- Do you love scrapbooking?
- What about card making?
- Would you like to try digital scrapbooking and/or card making?
- If yes, have you tried the Stampin’ Up! My Digital Studio (MDS) yet?
If you haven’t, but would like to try it on a trial basis, you can do that with the My Digital Studio Express Trial. Here is how it works:
- You go to my on-line store, (click HERE) and download the trial software.
- You try it for 30 days FREE. Yes, I said FREE!
- If after the 30 days you decide for whatever reason that you cannot fit it into your toolbox of stamping supplies, all you have to do is NOTHING!
- You purchasethe version of the software you downloaded to continue using it.
- To purchase it, you’ll simply open up the trial version you already have on your computer, and you will be prompted to enter the product registration key you received after purchasing the software. (You’ll receive this key via e-mail if you purchase the downloadable version, and you’ll find it along with your shipped software if you purchase the disc version.)

Stampin Up Out West Happy Birthday Card – Brayering
It has been a while since I’ve used my Stampin’ Up! brayer, so I decided to use it to create this card, featuring the Stampin Up Out West stamp set, for my special brother who has a birthday Saturday. He is a horse lover and has had many beautiful, special horses in his lifetime. Therefore, I wanted a horse stamp for the card. I chose to use a retiring Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Out West, that met my need for a horse stamp. The brayering on this card was inspired by Michelle Zindorf, who taught me how to use a brayer. If you are interested in taking one of her classes (she travels all over the US), click here.

Stampin Up Out West
Floral District DSP
My friends, I have fallen in love with the new Stampin’ Up! (SU) Floral District DSP that becomes available on June 1! I am so pleased with the new SU products. My card share today features the Floral District DSP, and I have to say, that I really love this card. It is so pretty in person. When June 1 rolls around, you must order the Floral District DSP; you won’t regret it.

If I have to say it myself, I think I did a very clever thing with the ribbon. At first glance, it appears as though it is wrapped around the card, but it isn’t. In the following three pictures you can see that it’s not.

Do you ever feel like your creativity is working at full speed? I felt that when I was making the card. I really like it, so much that I think I am keeping it for myself (lol). Do you ever do that?
