Guneaux Designs 2017 Best Handmade Cards

GUNEAUX DESIGNS 2017 BEST HANDMADE CARDS

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!  May your year be one of blessings and good health!  As shared yesterday, I am looking back at Guneaux Designs 2017 best handmade cards and wanted to share them.  Hopefully, you will come along with me on this journey.  I posted the cards on Splitcoaststampers (SCS), Pinterest, and/or other sites.  The comments on SCS and Pinterest PINs is my guide on selecting the best cards.  You can click on the photos to get full details about them.

Here are the three best cards for day two:

  1.  FIFTH AVENUE FLORAL BIRTHDAY CARD

I posted this card on my site on March 4, 2017.  I am finding it interesting to look back at my card posts, as I am learning that I did not always post my cards to SCS and/or Pinterest.  This card is one of them!  However, I love this card as I made it for my daughter’s birthday and she loved it.

Revelation 3:10 & 11

“Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.  I am coming soon.  Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”

GUNEAUX DESIGNS BEST CARDS FOR 2017

As the year closes and we bring in 2018, I am looking back at my best cards for 2017 and wanted to share them.  Hopefully, you will come along with me on this journey.  I will post three cards a day, and most likely will post a total of twelve cards.  I posted the cards on Splitcoaststampers (SCS) and/or Pinterest, thus, the comments on SCS and Pinterest PINs will be my guide.  Today, I will post the first three cards.  You can click on the photos to get full details about the cards.  Here is the first of today’s three.

  1.  HONEY BEE LITTLE PICKUP

I made the above card in January 2017, and posted it on Splitcoaststampers.  I received many comments on the card and it was a Splitcoaststampers’ favorite.  I love the mountains that I hand drew for this card.

2 Timothy 1:8-10

“So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner.  But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life — not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.  This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but is has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.”

The ODBD White as Snow Snowman stamp is featured on my card share today.

Don’t you agree that he is so cute!!!

Luke 2:4-7 (NIV)

“So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David.  He went there to register [for the census] with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.  While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her first-born, a son.  She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Sparkling Poinsettias

Sparkling Poinsettias

Every Saturday, the Splitcoaststampers site has an inspiration challenge.  Yesterday’s challenge showcased the Agraria San Francisco website.  I selected the Lavender and Rosemary group for my inspiration, and this is the card I made using the Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettias stamp and die.

I’m not sure that it can be seen in the above photo, but I started my card by stamping two Holly Strips with Golden Glitz Pigment Ink down the center of the lavender panel. This was to represent the strips of a gold design in this picture.  It is obvious in the photo below.

Matthew 12:25-28 (Jesus and Beelzebub, the Prince of Demons)

Jesus healed a demon-possessed blind and mute individual and was criticized by the Pharisees who said that Jesus could only cast out demons by Beelzebub, the prince of demons.  “Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand.  If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself.  How then can his kingdom stand?  And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out?  So then, they will be your judges.  But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.”

Make It Crafty Neve

Do you struggle with coloring with Copic Sketch Markers?  I sure do!  I have had a couple of classes but I still struggle.  However, I was determined to make this beautiful card by using Copic Sketch Markers and two digital stamps – Make It Crafty Neve and Make It Crafty Winter Hills Scene.

My card is for Mary’s color challenge on Splitcoaststampers.  The color combination for the challenge is Real Red, Cucumber Crush, and Marina Mist.  Her desert is Christmas.  I love this color combination, and it is perfect for Christmas!

Ephesians 2:8

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”
