Happy 4th of July, my friends!! I’m sharing today a July 4th Table Decoration that I made using the old Stampin’ Up! Petal Cone Die. I made a similar decoration in 2012, and the complete instructions for creating one is found HERE.
One of the interpretations of the Dirty Dozen’s June Theme, Keeping Score, was to use score lines on a project. This 4th of July Hand Fan has many score lines. It is sturdy enough to use in hot weather while outside enjoying a concert and/or watching fireworks on the Independence Day. This photo is of the fan when open.

I had great fun creating this Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD) Surprise Box. It took hours for me to complete, but it was so worth it as it is for my precious granddaughter. The box is not for her birthday, as it may indicate. It is a reminder to celebrate life. Our lives can change in a split second and make you realize how important it is to celebrate life and your loved ones.
This week’s Splitcoaststamper’s Tuesday Color Challenge is hosted by Jeanne. She selected the color combination of SU Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, and So Saffron, with a dessert option of balloons. These colors are a beautiful combination!
I have wanted to create a paper purse for some time; therefore, I decided to create this Heartfelt Creations Paper Purse using the Heartfelt Creations Classic Petunia Collection paper and related products.
I created this paper purse for my 2-year old (almost 3) granddaughter who is my crafting partner! Yes, you read that right! She loves crafting with me, and she especially loves it when I make her 3-D items. She uses the 3-D items (e.g., baskets, boxes, mini-purses, etc.) that I make her to carry around her small dolls’ (i.e., 3″ tall) clothes and shoes.
She always tries, unsuccessfully, to get her little hand through the rather small handles of the smaller 3-D items. I knew I needed to create for her a larger purse with a long strap. Therefore, I created this purse with a long-braided strap that will meet her need. When I gave it to her, she immediately started stuffing her doll clothes into the purse and carrying it around with the strap on her shoulder. Welcome, my friends! I have been absent for many days as a result of Hurricane Irma. I live in Florida, and my area was hit by the storm. I lost power for several days and had no way to post. My power has returned, and I wanted to share a Heartfelt Creations Botanic Window Christmas Ornament that I made at the end of August.
